Terroir : Secteur des "Dentelles de Montmirail", où le paysage est fortement marqué par une barre rocheuse variant de 100 à 600 mètres d’hatitude. Les sols sont argilo-sablonneux et calcaire. Le massif des Dentelles a émergé sous l’influence de la poussée des Pyréenées et à l’opposé de celle des Alpes. Il s’agit d’un terroir de prédilection pour la production de vins puissants et frais. Les nuits sont effectivement plus fraîches et la maturité des raisins assez tardive.

Cépage : Grenache noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre en faible proportion.

Vinification et élevage : Fermentation traditionnelle en cuves inox ou béton thermorégulées, avec remontages réguliers. Elevage en cuves (majoritairement) et en fûts de chêne. Mise en bouteille après 12 à 14 mois.

Dégustation : Robe intense et profonde. Arômes typiques du Grenache (mûre, cassis), de sous-bois et d’épices. Un Gigondas racé et élégant doté d’une bouche dévoilant une grande ampleur. La finale est longue sur des notes plus épicées et minérales (roche broyée, graphite).

Conseils de consommation : Idéal entre 1 et 7 ans. A carafer si le vin est consommé jeune. Servir à une température de 17°C. Contient des sulfites

A blend of Viognier, Chardonnay and Colombar, this uncomplicated Pays d'Oc white wine offers intense notes of fresh fruit, mango, pineapple and lime blossom. Fresh and round on the palate, with a tangy finish. Beautiful overall balance.

All the elegance of an illustrious Bordeaux ppellation : Graves.

VARIETIES : 70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.

TASTING : A garnet-red colour with purplish highlights surrounds this Graves Chteau Les Tourelles 2016 with a certain mystery and the elegance of Bordeaux. On the nose, cooked black fruit testifies to the sun that has caressed the vines for a long time. The palate is well-balanced, with harmonious tannins. A pleasant finish with notes of stewed fruit.

FOOD AND WINE PAIRING : Red wines go well with meat dishes. It will also appreciate dishes in sauce from its native south-west, such as a cassoulet.

DOMAINE : The estate was acquired by Jean Darriet in 1938, adding to a winegrowing heritage that dates back to 1798. The Darriet brothers acquired Chteau Moutin in the heart of the Graves appellation. They subsequently joined forces with the Debat family, and over the years have continued to build up a remarkable vineyard in the Bordeaux region.

Perfect mastery of all parameters in this fantastic red wine. The color is a beautiful deep red in the glass and the nose is greeted with a rich and delicious aroma of ripe black berries. The taste is full of ripe fruit, and it is clear from the taste that this red wine gem is perfectly matured. There is very good power on the palate, which offers silky tannins and a long, round and soft aftertaste. Once again wow!
For this red wine, only the best Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre grapes are used, and every detail has been taken care of from the start. Work in the vineyard, the harvest and production in the cellar. As with any great wine, the emphasis is on quality rather than quantity, so special care has been taken with the grapes to achieve a pure, full taste. The wine is not filtered, and therefore there is a small profit at the bottom = quality!
This red wine is perfectly matured and is super delicious now and tomorrow. years to come. The wine can be served with a red steak, a cheese platter, stronger dishes or on its own.
